I made the trip from I-595 down to 27th ave and NW5th st in Miami midday in just under two hours. Also the tube driven tremolo is about the sweetest I've ever heard. It's been call a poor man's Deluxe and that's what it sounds like. On the plus side I play blues and when you crank up the volume and the tone control on this baby it sings like a 6v6 amp should. Toltex looks good but you can see the dented control panel in the pics. I wonder if I could jump them and run both in parallel? The down side is the particle board cab with a little water damage at the bottom and the Masonite baffle board sucks. It's a two channel set up with no channel switch. I haven't checked the caps yet but it's pretty quiet hardly any hum even with single coils. Considering its 45 years old it sounds very good. It also has the original Fisher Alnico speaker and death trap two prong power cord. I had to tighten the tube socket to get it to stay in but it works fine now. The 6au6 tremolo driver was missing so the guy gave me a Mullard. All original Westinghouse 12ax7s and RCA 6v6s and 6x4 rectifier. Why do they call it tourist season if we can't shoot them? Anyhow, The amp is very cool. We're talkin 30 mph on the palmetto(826) and 15mph on the dolphin expressway(836).
